Miss Kumar and her team at Basingstoke Hospital were faultless in their care and expertise. I had a full hysterectomy after pre-cancerous cells were found. Miss Kumar explained everything clearly and her swift intervention and help was very reassuring. The operation went well and I was sent home the same day after a keyhole procedure. Miss Kumar contacted me after the operation to check that everything was healing well which it was. Thankfully no further treatment was need. I cannot thank Miss Kumar and her team enough for the level of care and for everything they did for me. I will always be eternally grateful and would highly recommend Miss Kumar to future patients.

I was referred to Miss Kumar after several GP appointments relating to an ongoing gynaecological issue. She was very thorough in wanting to further investigate the potential causes of my symptoms. When these were inconclusive, Miss Kumar listened to my perspective and feelings and we mutually agreed that a total hysterectomy was the right route to take. As I have health insurance with my job, I switched to her private practice for subsequent consultations and procedure. The surgery itself at the Hampshire Clinic was long and quite involved, but went without any hitches. I had expressed beforehand that my main concern was that it would all go to plan, as there can be complications with such major surgery. Miss Kumar took the time to visit me in recovery to reassure me that all had gone well, which was the news I had been hoping for. She also came to see me the following morning, gave me more detail about the procedure and was very positive in asking the nursing staff to remove my catheter and allow me to get up and walk around. This gave me the confidence that everything was in order. The surgery was conducted via keyhole. My internal and external wounds all healed well. Miss Kumar called me for a follow up almost four weeks on. She checked in on my progress, answered my questions, re-assuring me about some minor symptoms. I was discharged at that point. Six weeks on, I am feeling really good, albeit taking heed of her advice. I would highly recommend Miss Kumar, both for her relationship management skills and for her clinical expertise.
